Some might find the revised release date for Euphoria Season 3 to be disappointing. Season 3 of Euphoria has once again been delayed due to the writers’ strike and is now expected to air in 2026.
There have been few details regarding Euphoria’s return to the network after HBO renewed the show for a third season in February 2022. The Euphoria star Maude Apatow recently stated that Season 3 filming would not begin until the second part of this year, meaning that the series premiere would not take place until much later.
After two outstanding seasons on HBO, Euphoria’s popularity has soared. In fact, with an average of 16.3 million viewers in Season 2, the Zendaya-starring series rose to second place among all HBO programming since 2004.The production schedule would also be impacted by the star-studded cast’s hectic schedules, such as Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney’s.
Meanwhile, exact plot details for Season 3 are still shrouded in secrecy, but Euphoria costume designer Heidi Biven did tease that a five-year time jump could be incorporated into the show’s upcoming storyline.If the time jump does happen, then the three-year gap from Season 2 would be ideal.
