Travis Scott has announced a livestream event and launch gig for his new album Utopia. On Sunday, July 28, 2023, the singer-songwriter announced the news on social media.

“UTOPIA LIVE AT THE PYRAMIDS,” Scott wrote on Instagram, alongside the Live Nation event’s official poster. Tickets for the show, as well as a series of Utopia packs, are available for purchase on the artist’s official website, and it will also be live-streamed for viewers at home.

The Egypt showcase is characterised as a “unforgettable show that will immerse fans in the world of Utopia,” according to a press release. Scott’s team also mentions that the album will have “five individual artworks,” none of which have been revealed.

Although no official release date has been set, Scott has enabled pre-orders for the album on his website, with CDs, vinyl, and merch available.

Scott’s first full-length album since Astroworld, released in 2018, will be Utopia. Just over two years ago, the rapper hosted his annual Astroworld Festival, which resulted in the deaths of ten fans in what authorities described as a “mass casualty incident.” A Texas grand jury chose not to indict Scott on any criminal charges related to the event last month.
