Christine Baumgartner has filed for divorce on 1st May from her husband, Yellowstone star Kevin Costner. The reason of this split is still unknown but Christine who is a designer said ‘irreconcilable difference’ to be reason for their separation. Although this sudden move of Christine has surprised Kevin Costed as he wasn’t expecting this.
As per some internal sources, Kevin Costner was stunned after his wife Christine Baumgartner filed for divorce earlier this week ending their eighteen year long marriage. Few months back the couple was spotted happily posing for the cameras at Oscars. After those glimpse this news comes as a shock.
Costner’s spokesperson released a statement about this saying, “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.” He further added, “We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
Earlier, Rader Online.com had claimed that not everything is fine between the couple as the Christine had asked her actor-husband to quit the series, Yellowstone. The news agency had said that the hit series had really caused trouble in their. Despite the show being a hit and kept the producers happy, Christine wanted Kevin to hang-up his cowboy hat. It has also been reported that she had had enough and her patience was being put to test.
As per the report, Costner and Baumgartner have filed for joint custody of their three kids: Cayden, Hayes and Grace. The hearing will take place on July 5.
