Committed to making Uttar Pradesh a trillion-dollar economy, and after successfully completing roadshows abroad to invite foreign investors to the Global Investors Summit (GIS 2023) and introduce them to the opportunities available in various sectors in the state through his team of ministers and officials, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has now taken charge of bringing massive domestic investments to the state.
The Chief Minister start the domestic roadshows in Mumbai, the country’s financial center, meeting with the country’s leading tycoons and bankers, as well as renowned film personalities, in the context of the forthcoming Film City in Noida.
The Chief Minister pay a courtesy visit to Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari before the roadshow and meeting with key industrialists and bankers.
From that, he meets with representatives from other banks at the Taj itself. The Chief Minister thereafter attend the GIS roadshow from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Representatives from various industrial organizations will be urged to invest in Uttar Pradesh during this two-hour roadshow. They will be provided information on the Ease of Doing Business in Uttar Pradesh as well as the Ease of Starting a Business in Uttar Pradesh.
It is worth noting that in December, eight teams of ministers and senior officials visited 21 cities in 16 countries and received investment offers worth 7.12 lakh crore under the leadership of CM Yogi.
The roadshows in nine Indian cities are an extension of that effort.
According to CM Yogi’s itinerary, he would have one-on-one talks with several industrialists before and after the roadshow.
This meeting will be conducted on a business-to-government basis (B2G).
According to the program, 17 B2G meetings are planned.
Before to the roadshow, he will meet Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, Piramal Enterprise Ltd. Chairman Ajay Piramal, JSW Group MD Sajjan Jindal, Torrent Power MD Jinal Mehta and Hiranandani Group CEO Darshan Hiranandani while after it he will hold talks with CM Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran, Parle Agro Chairman Prakash Chauhan and MD Shawna Chauhan, Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd. Mukesh Ambani, CEO of Reliance Industries Ltd., and Pirojsha Godrej, Executive Chairman of Godrej Industries.
