Police on Saturday recovered three improvised explosive devices and as many sticky bombs in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Additional Director General of Police Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh said Kathua police have recovered three IEDs and three sticky bombs on the disclosure of arrested JeM terrorist Zakir Hussain Bhat.
On October 2, JeM terrorist identified as Zakir Hussain Bhat alias Umar Farooq of Malad, Billawar was arrested on specific inputs in Kathua.
He was in multiple contacts of Jaish terrorists operating from Pakistan through different social media apps and had received a consignment of IED and Indian currency of Rs 20,000. He was planning terror activities in the Jammu region.
Further investigation into case is going on, he added.
