The cast of Euphoria will undergo a significant shift soon since actress Barbie Ferreira, who won over viewers as the plummeting high school student Kat Hernandez in the show’s final two seasons, is leaving Euphoria High. According to reports, Barbie Ferreira acknowledged her departure from the show as a result of her alleged conflict with Sam Levinson, the program’s producer. The star posted on social media about her alleged departure.
Barbie Ferreira informed her followers about her departure from Euphoria on Wednesday via her Instagram account. She made it known that she wouldn’t be joining the third season of the series. In her Instagram story Barbie wrote, “After four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character Kat, I’m having to say a very teary-eyed goodbye. I hope many of you could see yourself in her as I did and that she brought you joy to see her journey into the character she is today. I put all my care and love into her and I hope you guys could feel it. Love you, Katherine Hernandez.”

For those who are unaware, Barbie received a tonne of love and admiration from viewers for playing Kat, who served as a role model for body positivity on the show. However, as internet rumours regarding the on-set conflict between Ferreira and show producer, Sam Levinson began to circulate and her role gradually disappeared in Euphoria season 2.
