“Aligarh” writer Apurva Asrani yesterday took to his Twitter to open up about his relationship with Siddhant.
Apurva Asrani, who was in a homosexual relationship with his partner from the last few years has opened up the fact that how they managed to live in a rented house.

In his post on Twitter, Apurva revealed that he and Siddhant were hiding about it for more than a decade. They used to tell their neighbours that they are cousins. He also said that the time has come to normalize LGBTQ families.

He wrote, “For 13 years we pretended to be cousins so we could rent a home together. We were told ‘keep curtains drawn so neighbours don’t know ‘what’ you are’. We recently bought our own home. Now we voluntarily tell neighbours we are partners Two hearts. It’s time LGBTQ families are normalised too.”
