Koji Kashin has been quietly influencing the story of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex ever since he unlocked the Ten Direction shinjutsu. He can see glimpses of the future and has predicted some unusual deaths in the series. Luckily, he is on the side of good and helps Boruto guide the shinobis so they can change their fates. In the latest chapter, we get a peek at a dark future for Himawari.
In the previous chapter, Koji revealed that Inojin will need to learn a new jutsu to avenge Himawari if the worst happens. This was a shock for fans, especially since Himawari had recently gained new powers that made her seem stronger and safer. Inojin then asked Koji why he can’t reveal every detail about the future, showing how worried he is.
Chapter 28 gives a glimpse of a tragic scene. Eida is turned into a god tree, and Inojin is seen crying over Himawari, who appears lifeless in his arms. Koji’s warning shows that if Boruto and his team fail to stop Mamushi, both Himawari and Eida could face terrible fates.
Fans can rest a little because Boruto would never let something bad happen to his sister easily. Even so, this panel is shocking and makes everyone nervous about what might happen next. It raises the question of whether the author might go so far as to kill Himawari to show Boruto’s growth.
We won’t know for sure until the next chapter comes out. Until then, all we can do is wait and wonder what the future holds for Himawari. Do you think she will survive or face a tragic end?
