Every month, Pokemon Go picks one special Pokemon for Community Day. For November 2025, the spotlight is on Pikipek. These events are always exciting because the game fills the map with nonstop spawns, bonus candies, higher shiny chances and a bunch of free rewards. You also get three full hours to play, so you don’t have to rush or feel stressed.
The Pikipek Community Day happens on November 30. It starts at five in the evening and ends at two in the afternoon the same day based on local time. During this window, Pikipek will appear everywhere in huge numbers. You can catch as many as you want and collect candy to evolve it into Trumbeak and then Toucannon. You will need twenty five candy for the first evolution and one hundred more candy for the final one.
This Community Day is special because Pikipek’s shiny form is arriving for the first time. The shiny odds are much higher than normal. Usually shiny odds are extremely low, but during Community Day they jump to one in twenty five. So catching lots of Pikipek gives you a very good chance to get at least one shiny.
If you evolve Pikipek into Toucannon during the event or within the four-hour bonus window afterward, your Toucannon will learn the special move Beak Blast. This move hits very hard in battles. It has one hundred ten power in trainer fights and one hundred twenty five power in gym and raid battles. So it is worth evolving at least one strong Pikipek to get this attack.
The event brings a bunch of helpful bonuses too. Pikipek will be everywhere, you get much more XP for catches, incense lasts longer, lures stay active longer, candy rewards increase, and your chances for Candy XL are better. Trading becomes cheaper as well, and you can make one extra special trade for the day. If you take a few snapshots, Pikipek will jump into your photo. From the afternoon to the evening, Pikipek also shows up even more at PokéStops with active lure modules. Some PokéStops will also host special showcases where you can enter your Pikipek.
There is also a Community Day box on the web store. It costs a small amount and comes with rare candy and a ticket for the special research story. The research tasks during the event give Pikipek encounters, items, candy, stardust and even evolutions like Trumbeak and Toucannon as rewards. The story is simple. You catch Pokemon, use throws, spin stops, walk a little and claim lots of rewards at the end of each step.
To get the most out of the day, it helps to prepare a bit. Clear your storage so you have room for all the Pikipek you will catch. Have plenty of Poké Balls and berries ready. Use incense as soon as the event begins. Pinap berries help you earn more candy, which is helpful if you want to evolve many Pikipek. Using a Lucky Egg during the three hours will multiply your XP and make leveling much faster. And remember to evolve Pikipek before the bonus window ends so you can get the exclusive move.
