There are three games on Thanksgiving Day and both the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs will be on the field. That means Jameson Williams, David Montgomery and Isiah Pacheco will all be playing. The Lions take on the Packers and the Chiefs face the Cowboys. Pacheco is coming back from a three week injury break. Montgomery and Williams have stayed healthy but their numbers have not been great. Here is the easiest possible breakdown of whether you should start or sit them this week.

David Montgomery
Montgomery has lost his lead role to Jahmyr Gibbs. He has only had fifteen or more carries twice all year and has not reached more than eighteen in any game. He is not catching many passes either and that has pushed him down to the RB twenty four range. He is no longer a safe weekly starter. His matchup is rough too because the Packers give up very few points to running backs. If you play him you are hoping only for a touchdown. Because of the matchup and his low volume he should be on your bench.

Verdict: sit

Isiah Pacheco
Pacheco has been sharing touches with Kareem Hunt all season. That will almost certainly continue. He has struggled behind weak blocking and ranks very low in fantasy points per game. He is also just returning from injury and Andy Reid has not promised a full workload. The Cowboys matchup is actually good for running backs so there is upside. But with what we have seen this season and the risk of limited touches it is not wise to start him.

Verdict: sit

Jameson Williams
Williams has been up and down. He had a three game stretch with solid yardage and a touchdown each week. But he also had two games with zero production. He is the definition of boom or bust. He sits around WR thirty three which makes him a flex option only when the matchup is good. This week the matchup is tough because the Packers allow very few points to wide receivers. Williams has also been quiet in all four of his games against the Packers. If you want to avoid stress you should keep him on the bench.

Verdict: sit
