The Lakers are close to getting LeBron James on the court again. He has missed the whole season so far because of an injury, but he might return on Tuesday against the Jazz. Even though he is excited to play again, he joked that he definitely did not miss all the travel that comes with the NBA life. He said he loved working out and seeing his teammates put in the effort, but at almost forty one he also enjoyed relaxing on his couch after training.

LeBron also knows some people think his return will mess up the Lakers’ chemistry. He shut that down right away. He said it does not matter what people think and that he can fit on any team in the world because he can do everything on the court.

Some opinions are still unsure though. Josh Cornelissen from Lake Show Life thinks LeBron’s return might break the rhythm the Lakers built without him. He wrote that LeBron needs the ball to be at his best and that this could take touches away from Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves. He also said the Lakers mainly need help on defense and that LeBron might not bring the energy they need at age forty. He even suggested that LeBron’s return could slow the team down after their strong start.

This is a strong opinion, but none of it can be proved until LeBron actually steps on the floor again. Doncic and Reaves want to play with him and they have all talked about it already. Everyone knows what to expect, so the situation may not be as dramatic as some people are making it sound.
