Former One Direction members Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik are reconnecting and sharing their story in a new Netflix documentary series. The three-part show will follow the two English singers on a road trip across the United States, giving fans an intimate look at their lives.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will feature personal conversations about life, loss, and fatherhood. Their publicists described it as a rare glimpse into the lives of two of the most famous and private men in the world. The series is directed by Nicola Marsh, who has worked on documentaries such as Child Star, Song Exploder, and Stay on Board: The Leo Baker Story.
This reunion comes after the tragic passing of fellow bandmate Liam Payne, which is expected to be discussed in the series. It also marks the first on-screen appearance of Louis and Zayn together since their public fallout over their time in One Direction. In the past, the two had disagreements over personal and professional issues, which created a noticeable rift.
Since then, they have been seen spending time together, attending each other’s concerts, and reconnecting as adults.
