Selena Gomez is ready to start a new chapter in her life. Just days after Taylor Swift announced her engagement to Travis Kelce, Selena kicked off her own pre-wedding celebrations in Cabo. On August 29, 2025, she shared dreamy photos from her bachelorette party on Instagram. Reports say Selena and Benny Blanco are expected to marry in September 2025. In the photos, Selena wore several different stunning outfits throughout the celebrations.
In one image, she sat on a cream-colored outdoor couch with a peaceful coastal view, wearing an off-white off-shoulder mini dress with floral details. Another picture showed her in a white, pearl-studded halter-neck dress inside a beautifully decorated room. Other photos captured her in casual looks and even a bridal veil paired with a bikini. One shot featured her and friends enjoying a yacht ride, while others highlighted rooms decorated with bridal themes. In her pearl-studded backless dress and veil embroidered with “Bride to Be,” she looked radiant. The series of photos ended with a fun video of Selena and her friends dancing, laughing, and partying together. She was joined by longtime friends Raquelle Stevens, Ashley Cook, and Courtney Lopez on the yacht on August 24, 2025.
Fans flooded social media with love and good wishes, excited to see Selena so happy. Comments included praise like “The prettiest bride-to-be ever… loved celebrating you” and “You’re glowing, can’t get enough of you.” Her friends also shared heartfelt messages, celebrating the singer and wishing her happiness in this next chapter.
According to The Daily Mail, Selena and Benny’s wedding will take place in California in September 2025, with only close friends and family invited. Invitations have gone out, including to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Earlier in July, Selena shared on Rare Beauty’s TikTok that she doesn’t plan to have a traditional wedding cake. Instead, she wants to serve her Nana’s biscuits and gravy, which she calls her favorite dessert. She said, “My preferred dessert would be biscuits and gravy. My Nana’s biscuits and gravy. That sounds like dessert to me. Whenever that day comes, I do know I don’t want a big cake.”
