Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke have quietly welcomed their twins, adding to their growing family of four sons. Penn, best known for his role in You and as the frontman of the band Mothxr, and Domino, a singer-songwriter, first met back in 2014 at a meatball shop in New York City. At the time, Penn was couch surfing, and Domino offered him a place to stay. The two started dating soon after and married in 2017. They became parents to their first son together in 2020, with Penn also stepping in as a father figure to Domino’s older son from a previous relationship.
Earlier in September, the couple had revealed that they were expecting identical twins. While they initially kept the babies’ arrival private, Penn recently shared a peek into his life on paternity leave. On his Instagram, he posted a short video showing his newborns’ tiny feet, whispering so as not to wake them. In the clip, he mentioned he was interrupting his leave to announce a live event for his podcast, Podcrushed, about the release of their new book, Crushmore.
Back in April 2025, Penn admitted to Access Holiday that the news of expecting twins had been a shock for both him and Domino. He described how awe-inspiring it was to see them together on the sonogram, noting how connected they already seemed. He also reflected on the responsibility of raising boys in a world that needs more good men. Domino had announced the pregnancy in February 2025, sharing how magical and spontaneous it felt to be expecting twins. She talked about her journey with a doula, emphasizing the importance of surrendering to the process of pregnancy without expecting a blueprint and staying grounded in the mystery of it all.
