BTS’ Jimin has been making waves with his solo projects, releasing FACE in 2023 and MUSE in 2024. FACE was his first official solo album, featuring six songs, but fans were delighted by a hidden seventh track called Letter, which he dedicated to them. Now, two years later, trouble has arisen as someone using the name Mirry3m has uploaded Letter across multiple streaming platforms, including Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, Amazon Music, Deezer, and Indiefy.

The BTS ARMY quickly noticed the issue and called it out as copyright theft. They are demanding that Jimin be credited as the rightful owner and that action be taken against the person misusing the track. The hidden track was only included in the physical version of FACE, meaning it wasn’t available digitally unless fans purchased the album. This strategy helped FACE sell 1.45 million copies in total, with around a million sold in the first week and over 940,000 on the very first day.

Despite the controversy, Jimin continues to achieve milestones in his solo career. His lead track from MUSE, Who, has earned him a nomination in the Best K-pop category at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, further proving his growing success outside of BTS.
