Margot Robbie is loving her new life as a mom. She had her first child last year with her husband Tom Ackerley and recently spoke about what it’s like to be a parent. The Barbie star sat down with Entertainment Tonight and shared how much joy it gives her to watch her son grow.
While talking about her new movie, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, she also opened up about her experience as a mother. She said that explaining parenthood to people who don’t have kids is hard. She laughed and said if someone has kids, they already understand. If they don’t, it might just sound boring. All she could really say is that it’s the best feeling.
Margot and Tom welcomed a baby boy in October 2024, and the news came out a few weeks later through People Magazine. The couple has kept most details private, including their son’s name, but Margot is thrilled about her new role as a mother.
Her co-star in the new film, Colin Farrell, also shared his thoughts on parenthood. He said it has meant everything to him, but he doesn’t want to put too much pressure on his kids. Still, he admitted they are the most important part of his life.
Even though Margot hasn’t shown her son’s face publicly, he has made appearances in her interviews. During a chat with Access Hollywood, she paused and apologized when her baby got noisy, showing just how much her life now revolves around him.
On the work side, her movie A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is set to release in September.
