Kayla Nicole is making it crystal clear she’s moved on from ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce. The sports journalist and influencer stole the spotlight this past weekend when she took part in a steamy on-stage moment with Chris Brown during his Breezy Bowl XX tour in Los Angeles.
Footage of the encounter has since gone viral. As part of his performance of the 2007 hit Take You Down, Brown invited Nicole onto the stage, where she was seated in a red reclining chair while he performed his signature body-ripple moves. Nicole, dressed in black shorts and thigh-high boots, engaged with the singer during the sultry performance, which ended with a close moment that was cut to black on the big screen.
Fans were quick to react online, speculating whether Nicole’s stage antics were a subtle jab at her ex, who recently got engaged to pop superstar Taylor Swift. “Is she trying to make Travis jealous lol,” one fan wrote on X, while another commented, “Y’all now having dry humps on stage now.”
The interaction comes just weeks after Kelce popped the question to Swift. Nicole has been relatively circumspect about the engagement in public, previously reposting a clip of Black-ish actress Tracee Ellis Ross discussing joy, captioning it: “Read about this very concept years ago in a book called Choose Joy: Because Happiness Isn’t Enough. I aspire! So so good.”
When asked about Kelce’s engagement at a recent House of Champion event in New York, Nicole kept her response brief and composed: “Oh, no, no, no!”
It seems the starlet is fully embracing life post-breakup—whether on stage with a music icon or in her own reflective moments, Kayla Nicole appears focused on moving forward, joyfully and unapologetically.
