Wednesday Season 2 is returning with Part 2, and Netflix has released the trailer for the final four episodes. Fan-favorite Principal Weems, played by Gwendoline Christie, will be back, and Lady Gaga is set to make an appearance. While details about Gaga’s character remain under wraps, her voice is heard in the preview.
The second half picks up from the end of Episode 4, where Wednesday Addams is thrown out of a window and left lying in blood. The trailer opens with Wednesday, played by Jenna Ortega, waking up from a coma at Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital. Principal Weems greets her dressed as a nurse, saying, “Rise and shine, sleepyhead! Ready for your sponge bath?” The two share a dream-like sequence that ends in a door leading to nowhere. Weems tells Wednesday, “This isn’t hell, Miss Adams, but I understand the confusion,” and reveals, “Because I am your new spirit guide. Surprise!”
Elsewhere, Wednesday warns her friend Enid that she is in grave danger, revealing that Tyler plans to kill them both. Enid responds, “Fix it? You’re the reason he escaped.” The trailer ends with Lady Gaga’s voice warning, “Beware, there will be a price to pay.”
Fans are eager to see the role Gaga will play and how it will impact the storyline. Wednesday Season 2, Part 2 will be available to stream on Netflix from September 3.
