J-Hope flew to Germany on July 10 to headline Lollapalooza Berlin 2025, one of the biggest annual music festivals. He was seen at the airport in South Korea early that morning, confirming that BTS will be away from their home country for the next two months to focus on their comeback album. J-Hope mentioned that after finishing his performance in Berlin, he would join the other members in Los Angeles.
His appearance at the airport attracted a big crowd of fans and reporters. Dressed in a stylish denim outfit and wearing his signature sunglasses, he smiled and waved on his way to the flight. A paparazzi asked if it was true he would be gone for two months, and he replied, “Yes, now it’s time to work [on music]. They [the BTS members] are there in advance.”
This response confirmed earlier reports that BTS would be staying in the U.S. for two months to prepare their upcoming album. On July 9, which is celebrated as BTS ARMY Day, Jimin had also posted a photo of himself wearing headphones in a recording studio, hinting that group activities were already underway.
J-Hope will perform at Lollapalooza Berlin on Sunday, July 13. The festival will be held over the weekend of July 12 and 13 at the Olympic Park and Stadium in Berlin. His headline set is scheduled for 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time. He flew in early to get some rest and prepare for the big event.
Fans are excited to see him back on a major global stage. Not long ago, he made a surprise appearance at PSY’s SUMMER SWAG 2025 concert, performing his new solo track Killin’ It Girl, along with BTS favorites MIC Drop and Outro : Ego. Before that, he wrapped up his HOPE ON THE STAGE world tour with two encore shows in Goyang. Now, fans are looking forward to what he brings to Lollapalooza.
