Fans of Ginny and Georgia have reason to celebrate as Netflix has officially renewed the series for Season 4. This announcement follows the intense events of Season 3, which premiered in June 2025, where Georgia found herself in serious legal trouble and Ginny took bold steps to protect her mother. With so many cliffhangers, viewers are eager to see how the story unfolds next.
While Season 4 is confirmed, fans may need to be patient. The show’s previous seasons have arrived roughly every two years—Season 1 debuted in February 2021, Season 2 in January 2023, and Season 3 in June 2025—suggesting Season 4 might not arrive until early or mid-2027. Netflix revealed that the writers’ room opened in February 2025, and the show’s official Instagram teased that the new season “is going to be a RIDE,” raising excitement for what’s to come.
Most of the core cast is expected to return, including Antonia Gentry as Ginny and Brianne Howey as Georgia. Supporting cast members likely to reprise their roles are Diesel La Torraca, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Jennifer Robertson, Katie Douglas, Chelsea Clark, and Tameka Griffiths. Recurring characters such as Nikki Roumel and Nathan Mitchell are also expected to come back, but the return of Aaron Ashmore, Ty Doran, and Karen LeBlanc remains uncertain. Additionally, some characters like Max’s former girlfriends Sophie and Silver appear to have moved on and may not feature in the upcoming season.
Season 4 will pick up several unresolved storylines. Georgia’s potential pregnancy, with the father possibly being Paul or Joe, will add new layers to her complex story. Her abusive stepfather and estranged mother may also make appearances, increasing the drama. Ginny is set to spend the summer in Korea with her father, who is seeking joint custody, while Marcus faces rehab and uncertainty in his relationship with Ginny. Max grapples with isolation after conflicts with friends and family. On top of this, the arrival of major business interests in Wellsbury could bring significant changes to the town’s dynamic.
Though Netflix has not released a trailer yet, fans can expect teaser clips and first-look images to surface as the release date draws near. The full trailer will likely be released about a month before Season 4 premieres, building anticipation for the next chapter of Ginny and Georgia.
