The model recently sat down for a heart-to-heart on influencer Emma Klipstein’s podcast, where she opened up about the phone call that completely changed her relationship with the Top Gun: Maverick star.

All she really wanted from him was some kind of reassurance, just a sign that he had her back.
Instead, she says she was put in a tough spot. She could either keep quiet and pretend like everything was normal, even though people were constantly whispering and wondering if something was going on between Glen and Sydney, or she could stand her ground and walk away. And that’s what she chose. In her words, “I was shattered.”
What hurt even more for Gigi was the way things played out so publicly. If people were going to be speculating, she just wanted to feel respected. But instead, she said she felt like she was being “fed to the dogs,” thrown into the chaos with no one protecting her.
She also shared that all it would’ve taken to calm things down was Glen standing up and saying, “Hey, I would never cheat on my girlfriend.” But that didn’t happen. According to Gigi, it seemed like work came before everything else for him. And while she respected his ambition, she knew in her heart it was time to walk away.
To add fuel to the fire, during the press tour for Anyone But You, Glen and Sydney leaned heavily into their on-screen chemistry, which sparked dating rumours. At that time, Sydney was still engaged to Jonathan Davino. But after their split, more reports started popping up, suggesting she and Glen might actually be a real-life couple.
