Doja Cat recently took to social media to talk about what looked like a problem with her breast implants after her performance at the iHeartRadio Wango Tango music festival on May 10 in Huntington Beach, California.
The Grammy-winning singer, whose real name is Amala Dlamini, was the star of the show, performing some of her biggest hits like Tia Tamera, Need To Know, Say So, Get Into It (Yuh), and Lose My Mind. She even surprised the crowd by performing a brand-new song called Crack live for the first time — a track she had only made available for download for one day a few days earlier.
On the red carpet, Doja looked happy and confident wearing a bright aquamarine dress. But after the event, she noticed people online were commenting on what seemed like a problem with her breast implants. She addressed this in a tweet on X (which used to be called Twitter), asking fans not to focus on her “contracted implant,” which is a way of referring to a condition called capsular contracture.
This condition happens when scar tissue forms tightly around a breast implant, making it feel hard or misshapen. It’s one of the risks that can come with breast implants.
Unfortunately, some fans left harsh comments about her appearance, calling her implants “botched” or “lumpy” and questioning why she would wear a dress that showed off the problem if it was bothering her.
Doja had already talked openly about getting cosmetic surgery in 2023, including breast augmentation and liposuction.
On a brighter note, she recently shared with Los Angeles radio station 102.7 KIIS FM that her upcoming fifth album, Vie, will have a cool ‘70s and ‘80s vibe. She said she’s really diving into that sound but adding her own modern twist to make it fresh and exciting.
