However, North West did not attend the actual event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on May 5, 2025.
This is because Anna Wintour, the event chair, does not allow anyone under 18 to participate in the Met Gala.
In Kim’s Instagram stories, she was shown getting ready for the night, which is one of the most important fashion events held every first Monday of May. Early footage showed Kim and North West in casual clothes at home, but later they were dressed up and ready to join other Hollywood stars.
In the video, Kim and North West posed in front of a white wall, likely at home. Kim wore a black leather dress by Chrome Hearts, fitting the gala’s theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” She completed her look with a matching black hat and a sparkling necklace.
