A man reportedly crashed his car into the front gate of Jennifer Aniston’s house. According to CNN, the man was detained after the incident. Online records show the house belongs to the actress.
Officer Jeff Lee from the Los Angeles Police Department said the crash happened Monday around 12:20 p.m. The property is located on Airole Way in Bel Air, a wealthy neighborhood in Los Angeles.
Police responded to a call about a “burglary suspect” who drove his car through the gate. A security guard at the house held the man until police arrived. The suspect is described as a white male in his 70s.
The man was taken into custody without any trouble. Police haven’t yet decided if the crash was an accident or on purpose.
Officer David Cuellar told CNN that Jennifer Aniston was not home during the incident.
Aniston has talked about her love for architecture and design, saying in a 2018 interview that if she weren’t an actress, she’d want to be a designer. She is best known for her role on the sitcom Friends and recently starred with Adam Sandler in the movie Murder Mystery 2.
