Kim Kardashian is reportedly preparing to take legal action against her ex-husband, Kanye West (now known as Ye), after a series of disturbing and offensive social media posts. The reality star, who shares four children with the rapper, is reportedly getting ready to hire celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser to help her in what could turn into a fierce custody battle.

On Wednesday night, Ye went on a shocking tirade on X (formerly Twitter), making vile remarks about Kim, as well as other celebrities like Taylor Swift and Madonna. He referred to Kim as his “nanny” and made inappropriate comments about filming a second sex tape with her, which revived memories of her infamous 2008 video with Ray J. To make matters worse, Ye also tweeted about “breaking” his “Me Too virginity,” which many found to be an offensive joke about rape allegations.

According to DailyMail.com, Kim, 44, was reportedly “absolutely mortified” after seeing Ye’s posts and immediately demanded that they be taken down. Despite her efforts to protect their children—North (11), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5)—from the online drama, the situation is getting more complicated as the kids get older and are exposed to the public chaos. In fact, North has reportedly set up alerts on her phone to track her father’s posts.

While Kim’s rise to fame was partly due to the release of the Ray J sex tape, she has always tried to shield her children from it. Ye’s recent comments have deeply upset her, and she’s now seriously considering legal action, including possibly fighting for full custody of their children.

In addition to his social media outbursts, Ye has been behaving more erratically in recent weeks. He was seen wearing a swastika chain and a black KKK-style outfit during an interview, and he made shocking comments claiming he regretted having children with Kim. He also accused Kim’s family of trying to control their biracial children. These rants have only strengthened Kim’s resolve to protect her family and shield her children from further harm.

Kim’s attorney, Laura Wasser—who has represented her in previous divorces, including from Kris Humphries and Kanye—has reportedly been “ready” for a legal battle. Kim is bracing for what could become an ugly and very public custody fight.

A source close to Kim revealed, “Kim cannot take much more of this. It is hurting their family.” As she prepares for what could be a very messy legal showdown, the custody battle with Kanye seems set to become even more public and high-profile.
