Zendaya and Tom Holland’s wedding is still quite a ways off, according to Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach. While the couple confirmed their engagement in January, Roach gave an update during the Fashion Trust Awards in Los Angeles on April 8, revealing that wedding plans aren’t in the immediate future.
“It’s far away,” Roach told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes. “They’re both doing a bunch of movies this year and there are a lot of premieres next year, so you’ll see a lot of red carpets.” He joked, adding, “I’m resting up for 2026,” suggesting that the wedding might be a few years away.
Zendaya and Tom Holland got engaged over the holidays, with Zendaya first spotted wearing her engagement ring at the Golden Globes in January. The news was later confirmed by Tom’s father, Dominic Holland, in a post on his Patreon on January 10. He shared that Tom had already bought a ring, spoken with Zendaya’s father to get permission, and had carefully planned out everything for the proposal, including the when, where, how, and even what to wear.
Though the couple has kept many of the details about their engagement private, the confirmation from Dominic and Zendaya’s visible ring cleared things up for fans.
Both Zendaya and Tom are incredibly busy with their careers, which seems to be the main reason for the delay in wedding planning. Zendaya has multiple movie projects lined up, and Tom is equally tied up with upcoming films.
The couple is set to reunite professionally for two major projects: Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. These films will keep them occupied throughout the rest of this year and into the next.
Despite their hectic schedules, both Zendaya and Tom have expressed how much they enjoy working together. Zendaya has praised Tom for his dedication and work ethic, sharing in an interview with Vanity Fair that he is incredibly talented and passionate about his craft. She also mentioned that, even when he’s exhausted, he always gives his best effort, something she truly appreciates.
Tom has also spoken about their on-set dynamic. In a past interview on the Dish podcast, he humorously mentioned how studios liked that they shared a hotel room, but on a more serious note, he said that having Zendaya by his side on set provided him with comfort and support.
