Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are facing renewed tension, leading to what sources describe as an emergency family meeting held by the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Concerned over the well-being of her children and the escalating behavior of her ex-husband, Kim reportedly sought the support of her immediate family as the situation intensified.
The meeting was called shortly after Kanye West posted a series of troubling social media rants. In the posts, he not only made controversial remarks but also involved music industry figures Jay-Z and Beyoncé, further escalating public attention.
According to an insider familiar with the matter, Kim Kardashian, 44, convened with her sisters—Kourtney, 45, Khloé, 40, Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 27—as well as their mother, Kris Jenner. The source stated that the family was deeply alarmed by Kanye’s actions and collectively resolved to take action. “There was a genuine sense of urgency and fear in that meeting — not just concern for Kanye’s behavior, but real worry for the children’s safety,” the source shared with RadarOnline.com.
Kris Jenner reportedly advised Kim to consult her legal team about modifying her custody arrangement. The source noted that Kim, who shares four children with West, is considering pursuing sole custody to ensure their safety and stability. “She’s reached a breaking point. She’s prepared to do whatever is necessary — legal action, full custody — to protect her kids,” the insider added.
However, the situation remains delicate. Kim is reportedly aware that Kanye tends to react unpredictably when legal matters arise. “She understands that once attorneys step in, things could spiral. Kanye feeds off conflict, and she’s trying to prevent any further escalation,” the source explained.
Currently, Kim and Kanye maintain joint custody of their four children: North (11), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5). Although the children reside with Kim full-time, Kanye still retains certain custodial rights and decision-making input in their upbringing.
Recent developments have intensified Kim’s concerns. Kanye West’s release of a new song, Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine, featured a recorded performance by their daughter, North. Kim allegedly had no knowledge of her daughter’s involvement in the project and did not provide consent. According to insiders, she felt deeply hurt and caught off guard by the decision, which she views as a violation of trust.
