Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly furious with Kanye West after he made inappropriate remarks about their twin children, Rumi and Sir. According to Page Six, the power couple found West’s comments deeply offensive and are now weighing their options on how to respond.
A source close to them revealed, “Jay-Z and Beyoncé won’t just let this slide. They’ve seen Kanye’s posts, including the ones he deleted, and they’re now deciding whether to handle this privately or take legal action.” As of now, the couple has no plans to publicly address the controversy.
The drama started when West posted a questionable remark on X (formerly Twitter) that called into question the mental capacity of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s seven-year-old twins. Although he later removed the post, he ended up reposting it the following day. He also clarified that his decision to delete it had nothing to do with regret. Instead, he claimed, “I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s family down… because there was a possibility of my Twitter being canceled.”
West’s behavior hasn’t just angered Beyoncé and Jay-Z—it has also deeply upset his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Another source told Page Six that Kardashian is disgusted by his words and believes he crossed a major line.
“Kim has reached her limit. She’s done trying to reason with Kanye when it comes to the way he communicates,” the insider explained. The Skims founder reportedly believes that no matter what issues Kanye has with Jay-Z and Beyoncé, children should never be dragged into it. She was particularly shocked and appalled by his comments.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have always been highly protective of their children’s privacy, especially Rumi and Sir. Unlike their eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, who has occasionally been in the spotlight, the twins have been largely kept away from public attention.
Beyoncé even touched on this in a 2024 interview with GQ, explaining that she works hard to ensure her kids have as normal a childhood as possible. She shared that they often accompany her to her office after school or visit the studio with her.
