Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B is taking a stand after an anonymous prank call sent Child Protective Services (CPS) to her home, falsely reporting that her children were in danger. The 32-year-old artist, who was visibly upset, addressed the situation during an Instagram Live video on Monday night, speaking from a hospital bed where she has been recovering from an illness.

In her emotional video, Cardi B, born Belcalis Cephus, called out the seriousness of the prank, which led CPS to visit her residence late at night. “Motherf—ers have taken s—t too f—ing far when you mess with my f—ing kids,” Cardi B said, expressing her outrage. She described the distressing moment when CPS arrived at her gated mansion at 11 p.m., with her children asleep inside.
According to the rapper, CPS was responding to an anonymous report claiming her children were being abused. Cardi B slammed the allegations, calling the accusations absurd. “Are you f—ing dumb?” she asked in disbelief. “My kids have never been touched, never gotten hit, no matter how annoying they are,” she added, defending her parenting and making it clear that her children are off-limits to such attacks.
Cardi B, who shares two children with her ex-husband, rapper Offset, vowed to take legal action against the person responsible for the prank. She announced her plans to hire a private investigator to uncover the identity of the caller. “I’m gonna sue the person that did this anonymous call. I’m gonna hire the best private investigator in the whole f—ing country because y’all take joking and y’all take s—t a little too far,” she said.
The incident has left Cardi B shaken, especially as she was already in a vulnerable state due to her illness. She revealed she had been hospitalized since Saturday and was struggling with her health. Despite her condition, the rapper emphasized that her children’s safety and well-being were her top priority.
