In the candid interview, conducted on September 10, Lopez discussed how she has come to embrace single life and find happiness within herself. “For people who are romantics and love being in relationships and want to grow old with somebody, we think, ‘I have to have that to be whole and happy.’ And you don’t,” Lopez explained. She emphasized that personal fulfillment doesn’t rely on being in a relationship—a realization that, she noted, took decades to fully understand.
“It only took 30 years,” Lopez added with a laugh, after Glaser, 40, praised her for the positive outlook.
