According to reports from TMZ, Lana Del Rey allegedly picked up a marriage license earlier this week with her new beau, Jeremy Dufrene, in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. Fans first spotted Dufrene in August when he was seen with Lana at the Reading & Leeds Festival, where the pair walked hand in hand.
But eagle-eyed fans soon realized that this wasn’t the first time Dufrene had popped up in Lana’s life. Apparently, he made a cameo in photos from 2019 on her Facebook page. It turns out Lana had taken a boat tour back then, likely led by Dufrene, hinting that their connection might have started much earlier than anyone thought.
It wasn’t until 2024 that their friendship appeared to blossom into something more, with the couple making their first public appearance together at the festival. However, the relationship didn’t sit well with everyone on social media, especially due to the age gap between the two. While Dufrene is noticeably older than Lana, no one knows his exact age, though TMZ reports that he’s 49. As for other personal details about him, they remain a mystery, and maybe that’s for the best.
This potential marriage isn’t Lana’s first time considering settling down. Before Dufrene, she was reportedly engaged twice. Her first serious relationship was with Clayton Johnson, whom she dated between 2020 and 2021. Like most of her personal life, Lana kept things private, so little is known about the romance.
