Haryana to undergo ‘Full Lockdown’ for 7 days from May 3

Haryana reported 13,588 fresh infections yesterday, along with 125 deaths and this has taken the state’s overall caseload to 5,01,566 and 4,341 fatalities.

The Haryana government on Sunday decreed a week-long complete lockdown in the state. The state Home and Health Minister, Anil Vij took to his official Twitter handle to announce the same.

“Full lockdown declared in all Haryana for 7 days from May 3, Monday”, Anil Vij wrote in a tweet on Sunday.

The recent development comes after the state reported 13,588 fresh infections yesterday, along with 125 deaths. This took the state’s overall caseload to 5,01,566 and 4,341 fatalities.

Earlier this week, the state government had imposed a weekend lockdown in nine districts including – Gurgaon, Faridabad, Panchkula, Sonipat, Rohtak, Karnal, Hisar, Sirsa, and Fatehabad – from 10 pm on Friday till 5 am on Monday.
