Chief of the Air Staff AP Singh emphasizes rapid capability enhancement amid security challenges

Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal AP Singh has stressed the urgent need for rapid capability enhancements to counter emerging security threats in an evolving geo-strategic environment. Speaking to student officers at the 80th Staff Course at the Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington, he highlighted the importance of adaptive strategies for future conflicts, as per PIB.

During his address, Air Chief Marshal Singh urged officers to embrace change and critically assess evolving threats while designing adaptive strategies. He underscored the significance of jointmanship, advocating for integrated training and operational synergy among the three services to boost combat effectiveness.

Providing a strategic perspective on the Indian Air Force (IAF), he outlined its ongoing capability development initiatives and emphasized the importance of unified operations in modern warfare. He commended the DSSC for its role in fostering jointmanship among the armed forces and preparing future military leaders through rigorous academic and professional training.
