Alliance Air is no longer a subsidiary of Air India, Check details here

On October 8 2021, the Tata Sons had won the bid for Air India. Tata’s had placed the bid amount worth ₹18,000 crore.

On Thursday, April 14, Tata-owned Air India announced that Alliance Air is no longer its subsidiary. The announcement comes months after the government of India officially handed over Air India to the Tata Group.

The aviation company announced the development on Twitter. “Passengers who have tickets of Air India with a 4-digit flight number starting with ‘9’ or a 3-digit flight number starting with ‘9I’, must know that these bookings belong to Alliance Air,” stated Air India.

Air India further stated that it will no longer handle bookings as well as queries related to Alliance Air from April 15. Customers have been asked to contact +91-44-4255 4255 and +91-44-3511 3511 or email at sup[email protected] for any requirement related to Alliance Air.
