Tata Curvv hits 8,218 sales milestone in just two months

Tata Motors is making waves in the automotive industry with its latest offering, the Tata Curvv. Available in petrol, diesel, and electric versions, the Curvv has quickly gained traction in the market, registering impressive wholesale figures. According to SIAM passenger vehicle industry data, Curvv sold a total of 8,218 units during August and September 2024.

The Tata Curvv made its debut in the electric avatar on August 7, 2024, showcasing Tata’s commitment to sustainable mobility. Following this, the company launched the petrol and diesel variants on September 2, 2024.

In August, Tata Motors dispatched 3,455 units of the Curvv, reflecting a strong initial response to its electric variant. September saw a significant surge in sales, with 4,763 units dispatched—marking a 38% increase month-on-month as deliveries for the petrol and diesel versions began.

Given Tata Motors’ passenger car wholesale sales in August (44,142 units) and September (41,063 units), Curvv made up 8% and 11% of the company’s August and September PV dispatches, respectively. The Curvv makes up 9.64 percent of the 85,205 units that were dispatched in August and September combined.
