Jammu & Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat is likely to address a press conference at 10:00 am today in Srinagar, where he is expected to share official details on the Nowgam police station explosion that killed nine people and injured 27 during the handling of seized explosives.
In parallel, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) will hold a separate media briefing in New Delhi at 10:30 am to provide the latest updates, preliminary findings, and the central government’s response to the incident.
The dual briefings come as multiple agencies — including the J&K Police, SIA, FSL teams and central intelligence units — continue investigations into the accidental blast that occurred during examination of explosives recovered from the recently busted “white-collar terror module.”
