An accidental explosion at the Nowgam police station in Srinagar late Friday night (November 14, 2025) has killed several people and left many others injured. The blast occurred while officials were extracting samples from a large cache of explosives seized earlier in the ‘white-collar’ terror module case, senior officials said on Saturday.

According to the initial assessment, the explosion took place inside the premises where forensic and investigation teams were examining the recovered material. Multiple departments were present at the site when the blast occurred.
