IREDA shares jumped more than 4% in morning trade after the company signed MoU with SJVN, GMR for 900 MW hydro project in Nepal.
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) said Monday that it has signed initial pacts with SJVN and GMR Energy for the construction and implementation of the 900 MW Upper Karnali hydroelectric project in Nepal.
According to the statement, the partnership intends to improve regional energy security through the development of renewable energy infrastructure.
As of 9:21 am, IREDA shares were trading 4.66% higher at Rs 233.58 on the NSE.
