According to reports, the story originated from a script written by K.V. Vijayendra Prasad for Rowdy Rathore 2, which did not take off. Renowned writer Durgesh Singh (Gullak Season 2, Shakti Shalini) has reworked it into a period jungle adventure tailored to Ram Charan’s dynamic screen presence. The film will be shot in Hindi and dubbed into Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada for a nationwide release.
A source close to the project told mid-day, “It is essentially a jungle adventure drama set in the past. The script has been adapted to suit Ram’s personality. It will be helmed by a top Bollywood director.” The film is being mounted on a lavish scale, promising Bhansali’s signature grandeur combined with high-octane action and rich historical elements.
This development comes as Ram Charan gears up for the release of his rural sports drama Peddi (April 30, 2026) opposite Janhvi Kapoor. The actor, fresh off the success of RRR, continues to expand his pan-Indian footprint with ambitious projects. Bhansali, on the other hand, is currently busy with Love & War starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, while also backing other productions like Jai Somnath directed by Ketan Mehta.
