Plot overview
Season 2 picks up after the emotional fallout of the Andie Bell investigation. Pip, now a different person after exposing the truth, wants to move on from crime‑solving and return to a normal life. However, she is pulled back in when Jamie Reynolds, the younger brother of Connor and a key witness in Max Hastings’ looming trial, suddenly disappears. As the trial approaches, Pip is forced into a terrifying race against time to find Jamie, confronting her darkest fears and the consequences of her actions.
The new mystery takes Pip to unexpected places and pushes her further from the “good girl” she once was. The season explores themes of justice, guilt, and the psychological toll of solving cold cases, with the series adapted from Holly Jackson’s Good Girl, Bad Blood, the second book in the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series
