Yash Raj Films (YRF) has officially announced “Alpha,” the first female-led installment in its renowned Spy Universe, slated for a theatrical release on December 25, 2025.
The film features Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt alongside YRF’s emerging talent, Sharvari. Directed by Shiv Rawail, known for his work on YRF’s Netflix series “The Railway Men,” “Alpha” marks a significant expansion of the studio’s espionage saga.
The YRF Spy Universe commenced with “Ek Tha Tiger” (2012), starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, and has since delivered blockbusters like “Tiger Zinda Hai” (2017), “War” (2019), “Pathaan” (2023), and “Tiger 3” (2023). Upcoming projects include “War 2,” featuring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr., “Pathaan 2” with Shah Rukh Khan, and “Tiger vs Pathaan,” bringing together Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
