The long-awaited sequel to the 2005 cult comedy No Entry is finally gaining momentum, and the latest reports suggest that Shahid Kapoor could soon join Varun Dhawan in the upcoming film. Directed by Anees Bazmee, No Entry 2 is reportedly being planned as a fresh take on the iconic comedy franchise with a younger ensemble cast.

According to Always Bollywood’s report, Varun Dhawan has already been locked as one of the lead actors, while Shahid Kapoor is currently in advanced discussions with the makers. Sources claim that Shahid is waiting for a complete narration before officially signing the project.

The original No Entry, released in 2005, featured Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in lead roles and went on to become one of Bollywood’s most loved comedy entertainers. The chemistry between the trio and Anees Bazmee’s chaotic storytelling played a major role in the film’s enduring popularity.

Reports suggest that the sequel will move away from the original cast and instead focus on a new generation of actors. Varun Dhawan is expected to bring his energetic comic timing to the franchise, while Shahid Kapoor’s inclusion could add a more controlled and witty humour style to the ensemble.

A third male lead has reportedly not been finalised yet, though several names are said to be under consideration. While the makers have not officially confirmed the complete cast, the update has already created major buzz online among Bollywood fans eagerly waiting for the sequel.
