The Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) is continuing its expansion after the blockbuster success of Hanu-Man, and the latest big update is the addition of Rohit Saraf to the upcoming mythological fantasy film Mahakali. The announcement was recently shared on social media, confirming that the actor has officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated project.

According to reports, Rohit Saraf has already completed an extensive shooting schedule for the film in Hyderabad. While details about his character are currently being kept under wraps, sources suggest he will play a significant role in the larger storyline connected to the PVCU.

The film also stars acclaimed actor Akshaye Khanna in a pivotal role alongside Bhoomi Shetty and several other prominent actors. Mahakali is written, conceptualised and created by filmmaker Prasanth Varma, who gained nationwide recognition after directing the superhero blockbuster Hanu-Man. The film is reportedly being positioned as the next major chapter in the growing cinematic universe inspired by Indian mythology and spiritual themes.

Mahakali is being produced by RK Duggal and Riwaz Duggal under the banner of RKD Studios. Reports also suggest that the film is directed by Puja Aparnaa Kolluru, who is collaborating closely with Prasanth Varma on the ambitious project.

Ever since the success of Hanu-Man, fans have been eagerly waiting to see how the PVCU expands with interconnected stories and larger-than-life characters. The addition of Rohit Saraf has further increased curiosity around Mahakali, especially among younger audiences who have followed the actor through projects like Mismatched and The Sky Is Pink.

With mythology-based cinematic universes becoming increasingly popular in Indian cinema, Mahakali is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about upcoming fantasy films from the Telugu film industry.
