The movie ‘Ravaana Kottam’ depicts a story of a youngster who resides in a village. The protagonist is a victim of many crimes among the villagers that happened out of a sudden. Throughout the movie one question dominates whether the person will be able to live and reveal the truth in front of anyone. The story is based on rural drama.

On 5th April the makers released the trailer of the movie. The two minute long trailer gives us a sneak peak inside a village where love prevails, residents love the place, culture and flora. The video shows the unity among the villagers and it also emphasizes on their local supports Kabbadi.
The movie, ‘Raavana Kottam’ is directed by Vikram Sugumaran. The cast of the movie includes some prominent personalities from the industry which includes Anandhi, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan, Deepa Shankar, Aruldoss and some other known faces. Shanthanu and Anandhi will be playing male and female leads respectively where as others will be seen playing pivotal role.

The movie is all set to release on 12th May, 2023 in Tamil language. Kannan Ravi is the producer of the movie. Vikram Sugumaran has written the story and screenplay. The music is done by Justin Prabhakaran.
