Meanwhile, there were reports that the actress will be seen opposite film star Ranveer Singh in filmmaker-director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Baiju Bawra. Since these reports, there was a lot of buzz among the Deepveer fans about the film.

However, now according to the latest news, the ‘Padmavati star is not doing this film with her husband Ranveer Singh. Information about this has been received from a report of Bollywood Hungama. Reports claim that actress Deepika Padukone has been dropped from the film. The reason for this was their huge demand.

According to the report, Deepika Padukone had demanded the same amount from Sanjay Leela Bhansali as film star Ranveer Singh. A source close to the film told that Deepika Padukone had demanded neither a penny less nor a penny more than Ranveer Singh.

The actress, who has been speaking openly on the issue of pay parity, has been successful in charging a hefty amount for her films as compared to the actor even before this. For the film Padmavat too, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali gave her one crore rupees more than Ranveer Singh. However, this time the filmmaker has turned down this demand of Deepika Padukone, Because of which this film has gone out of the hands of the actress.

A source close to Bhansali Productions under the Sanjay Leela Bhansali banner said, “In a way, it just got better. Because releasing four films of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone together was getting a bit too much for Sanjay Leela Bhansali.”
