Punjabi superstar Karan Aujla’s P-Pop Culture India Tour 2026 has hit a rough patch. The singer’s highly anticipated concerts in Lucknow (April 10) and Ludhiana (April 12) have been officially cancelled, just days after controversy erupted over his Mumbai performance.

The cancellations were confirmed by ticketing platform District, which cited “logistical difficulties.” Refunds have been initiated and will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. As of April 4, 2026, tickets for both shows no longer appear on the District app. Karan Aujla or his team (Team Innovation) has not issued any personal statement on the matter yet.

The trouble traces back to Aujla’s Mumbai Holi Edition concert on March 3 at MMRDA Grounds. Fans complained of severe mismanagement: scorching afternoon heat caused several attendees to faint, long queues for entry and water, overcrowding, poor visibility for many ticket holders, and near-stampede-like conditions. Many labelled it the “worst concert ever” on social media. Delhi and Pune shows, by contrast, received largely positive feedback.

In response to the backlash, Aujla subtly addressed fans via Instagram Stories, hinting at a redo: “Bombay, I think we need to add a night concert.” He later announced Mumbai 2.0 on April 12 at Mahalaxmi Race Course, with free entry offered to original ticket holders. Interestingly, this new Mumbai date coincides with the now-cancelled Ludhiana show.

His Jaipur concert on April 5 at JECC Ground remains scheduled. The tour kicked off strongly in Delhi on February 28, followed by Kolkata on April 3.

This is not the first hiccup — reports suggest the Ahmedabad show was also postponed or affected earlier. Fans on Reddit and Instagram have expressed disappointment and frustration, with some questioning overall tour management.

While Aujla continues to enjoy massive popularity with hits like Tauba Tauba, these back-to-back issues have sparked debates about concert organization in India, especially regarding crowd safety, hydration facilities, and timing during extreme weather.

As of now, affected fans in Lucknow and Ludhiana should check their email or the District app for refund updates. The rest of the tour’s fate remains uncertain until further announcements from the artist or organizers.
