Tenet release delayed by two weeks, Christopher Nolan’s Inception to be screened instead

The much-awaited film of the year, Tenet reportedly has been delayed for at least two weeks to July 31. The $200 million budget movie was set to be released on 17 July earlier.

The makers are still adamant to stick to the July dates in the hopes of providing a platform for the theatres as the entertainment industry is hard hit by Coronavirus pandemic.

And even if the Tenet is decided to move, Warner Bros and Nolan haven’t entirely given up the mid-July dates. It is been said that in Tenet’s place, Inception is going to be available in cinemas on the slot, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

“We are excited that our partners at Warner Bros. will offer a new generation of film fans the opportunity to enjoy Inception the way it was originally intended to be seen — on the big screen. Over these last months, we have been keeping Warner Bros. closely informed of our work toward reopening our theatres in accordance with governmental health and safety requirements, and we are looking forward to audiences enjoying Tenet in our theatres all around the world on July 31st”, the National Association of Theatre Owners said in one statement.

However, Tenet is not the only one to be moved, it is a long list of movies which is waiting for the Coronavirus pandemic to end. It includes movies like Wonder Woman 1984 and Mulan.
