Sam Heughan says he wants to work on a Bollywood film with his Love Again co-star Priyanka Chopra, but first he needs to learn to sing and dance.
Priyanka Chopra co-stars with Sam Heughan in the romantic comedy Love Again. After they start talking on the phone, their characters create a special bond. Sam has stated that he would like to work with Priyanka again and is even open to collaborating with her on a Hindi film. He stated that he would need to practise his singing and dancing first.
The film, directed by James C. Strouse, bombed in its first weekend in the United States. The rom-com was branded a box-office failure, grossing only $2.4 million. However, the film’s budget is only $9 million, so the loss should be minimal. Celine Dion plays herself in the film, as do Russell Tovey, Celia Imrie, and Priyanka’s husband, actor-singer Nick Jonas, who appears in a cameo.
When asked who he’d like to work with from India, Sam told Pinkvilla, “Obviously, I need to learn how to sing and dance. Priyanka, who was also next to him in the interview, then came to his defence and shared, “You don’t have to learn how to sing. We have playback singers for that. A little dancing might be allowed. A lot of our actors don’t know how to dance, but as long as you have a little rhythm, You’re good.”
The film’s cast, as well as Nick Jonas, attended the premiere in New York on Wednesday. Rajkummar Rao was also in New York for Priyanka’s film premiere. They had both collaborated on The White Tiger in 2021. On May 12, Love Again will be released in Indian theatres.
