Although Raquel Leviss is currently concentrating on herself, she is not discounting the possibility of a future with Tom Sandoval. On March 9, six days after it was reported that he had cheated on his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix, with her, the Vanderpump Rules actress made a new statement regarding her relationship with Tom on Instagram.
“Besides the indefensible circumstances surrounding our relationship, my feelings for Tom have always been born out of a loving friendship,” Raquel wrote. “Knowing how many people we hurt, I need to understand my choices and learn to make better ones. I need to take care of my health, work on self-growth and take time to be okay with being alone. I care for Tom and I do not want to label anything or predict what lies ahead. Right now, I need to heal.”
Following Ariana’s discovery that Tom had been cheating on her with Raquel, the couple, who had been dating since 2013, called it quits earlier this month. Once Ariana supposedly discovered a private video of Raquel on Tom’s phone, the affair was made public.
Although Tom and Raquel have not explicitly stated how long they have been dating, it has been said that they have been doing so since July 2022.
Vanderpump Rules cameras started recording as soon as the infidelity news surfaced to capture the fallout. On March 4, Tom was seen arriving at Raquel’s home to shoot a scene. Raquel allegedly ghosted Tom after that, according to Page Six, and has been ignoring all of his texts ever since. After this story was published on March 8, Raquel issued a statement that made it clear where she stood with Tom.
Raquel has also been given a temporary restraining order against Scheana Shay, another cast member of VPR, to further complicate the situation. In court records, Raquel claimed that Scheana had physically abused her after telling her about the relationship on March 2 when they were both in New York City.
Raquel shared pictures of herself in her filing with scratches on her face and a black eye, which she claims were caused by Scheana. The restraining order states that Scheana must keep 100 feet away from Raquel.
