Who is Jude Dillon from Mayor of Kingstown?
Jude Dillon was born in Kingston, Ontario, and had an impressive background. He graduated with a degree in English from Queen’s University in Kingston and furthered his education in painting at the Alberta College of Art and Design. Dillon worked as a news photographer for many years, earning accolades for his work which was featured in various magazines across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. He eventually settled in Calgary, Canada.
In addition to his photography career, Dillon published two poetry collections: The Fractured Garden and Happy There In My Agony. His photography often captured the beauty of the Canadian wilderness and urban life.
Hugh Dillon paid tribute to his brother on Instagram, sharing an old photo of them playing music together with the caption: “RIP my big brother Jude Dillon pictured here in our basement in Kingston in 1968 THANK YOU JUDE.”
